Sahara is a 2017 French-Canadian 3D computer-animated adventure film directed by Pierre Coré. Produced by Mandarin Films and StudioCanal.
The film had its world premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival on April 16, 2016. It is scheduled to be released in a limited release and through video on demand on May 12, 2017, by Gravitas Ventures.
Tired of being the pain-sufferers of their community, Ajar the snake and his buddy Pitt the scorpion decide to try their luck in the neighboring oasis where the high bourgeoisie of the Saharan desert lives and find Eva, a beautiful serpent Ajar falls madly in love with. It is the beginning of crazy adventures that will lead them to cross the desert in the pursuit of love and even more to discover themselves.
